“Indifference is the worst enemy of Conservation”

Bioparc Foundation

In a world in which our species has endangered all the planet's biodiversity and its vital systems, the Conservation faces the greatest challenges in its history.

We are responsible for the environmental disaster that the Earth suffers, but we are also its only solution.

The Bioparc Foundation completes the conservation work carried out in Bioparc Fuengirola, Bioparc Valencia, Bioparc Gijón Aquarium and Granada Biodome. These parks participate in international conservation programs organized by the EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquariums) to help endangered species. The Foundation supports conservation projects on the five continents that protect these species and their ecosystems in their places of origin, closing the circle of comprehensive conservation.

We participate in international conservation programs in Spain, Cameroon, the Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Senegal, Guinea, Gambia, Madagascar, Uganda, Kenya, Indonesia (Borneo, Flores Island), Vietnam, the Philippines, the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and, soon, , Mexico. link 5

But the Foundation also works in another equally or more important line: to make our society, increasingly distant from nature, aware of the need to protect and conserve it. To achieve this, it is necessary for this society to appreciate it and, for this, the Foundation uses Art as its main tool.
